EPSRC Sensor CDT in Technologies and Applications in an Uncertain World
A four-year doctoral programme combining an MRes with PhD research, bringing together cohort-based training, interdisciplinary research and real-world applications.
Apply
Applications for all postgraduate courses are made through the University of Cambridge’s Graduate Admissions Office.
Applications for PhD study must include a proposed research topic and a named prospective supervisor. Applicants are expected to contact potential supervisors in advance to discuss research fit and availability.
Doctoral study is available through both traditional PhD routes within research groups and structured training via the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Sensor Technologies.

Entry requirements and application deadlines vary by course. Applicants seeking funding should note that funding deadlines may be earlier than course deadlines.
